I didn't know I had 2 girls

Codys basketball team was asked to cheer on the middle school teams since they had raised money for the High School team. They all dressed up funny but Cody was the only one dressed as a girl! I think he liked the fact that the girl cheerleaders put on his makeup hahah.

Tony Romo

‎2 very happy boys! Cody texted us and said Tony Romo was at their High School basketball game. We grabbed sharpies and footballs and raced out the door. He was not signing autographs till after the game. But with 14 seconds on the clock they saw him inching towards the exit sign. I had said a prayer before hand that they could get an autograph (ask and ye shall receive) this was a once in a life time chance. The security guard told Cameron no autographs....Cam and Carter reached around him and begged him to sign their footballs. He did! He was very nice to them and talked to them and only 7 other kids got stuff signed and then he jetted out of there. They were ecstatic!

Cams 20 mile hike

The Deacons have been preparing for a 20 mile hike. His bag with water weighed 35 pounds. The sleeping bag which was good for subzeroe temps weighed 10 pounds at least! Cam only weighs 88 pounds. We had to get up at 5:30 am and he was soo tired. I think the picture tells exactly how he was feeling..lol.

Thanks to the YM pres. I got some more photos....good thing he had that sleeping bag cause it snowed on them! they only ended up doing 10 miles because it took them 6 hours to go 5 miles. The leaders threw all the sleeping bags in a truck for the hike back down the trails and they made the 5 miles in 1hr and a half. He had a great time though and said it was hard. Next time he said he is dressing warmer and packing lighter....I don't think he could of possibly packed lighter though. They also were responsible for their own food. He had beefjerkey, trailmix. and tuna.

Tail Gate Party & Allen State Champs

It was really Fun to get to spend the holidays with the family since Zack got married. Benj, Nick and Abby were in town too and we all hung out and played games. Nick and Abby are builing a house in Frisco and just got here permanently this week! We all went to see Les Mis together! My dad bought everyone tickets to the Allen Eagles State Championship game..which they won...and he and Jason threw together a tailgate party before. That pic is the Allen marching band! They took up the entire field! We grilled sausages and hotdogs. We had Chili and hot coco too. We didn't get home till 130 am and they all passed out on each other in the car.

Christmas Day

Christmas Day we awoke to buckets of rain and then it turned to Snow. I was so happy Santa had brought some tents for the kids to play with because Cam and Carter had to wait days to use their presents...a basketball hoop and electric scooter. The cookie dough in the stocking was a big hit too. Cody is thrilled to have his own phone now...we'll see how long that lasts because he has to pay to keep up the minutes. billy is using his new ipod to work out with and I am loving my kindle. I have been reading Les Mis...again! Also the family got a new little black lab "Jet" for Christmas so Charliebrown can have a playmate.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve at my parents. Cody was Santa again...he is always so comical and so funny. I only got video of that though. Carter is trying out his spy glasses where he can see the people behind him. Cody and Cam got slides and Elites so they were in heaven. Savannah got some clothes and comfy pajama pants.
