cub scouts results

It was an exciting night, they both won a couple of races and placed second in a lot of races. They even had to race to each other. Carters weights flew off half way through and we had to stick them back on with my chewed up gum Lol!

We colored eggs....I think Cody has out grown this activity. This was the pic he posed for after I insisted he participate with the family. :) Also Carter is holding all his eggs on a flimsy plate...said eggs all spilled and cracked on the floor after the picture was taken. They still ate them though!

Easter Sunday

pinewood derby cars

So here are this years cars! Cam is very upset because he got paint on his wheel and it wouldn't spin. But we were able to find another wheel and we are all good to go! The boys made their own designs. Billy cut it and they sanded and painted it.

Carter loves being Indianna Jones with his buddy Damien. Savannah got a new lamb from my grandpa and she takes it everywhere! We did Easter baskets early again the year so we can try and focus on the real meaning of Easter this Sunday and this week leading up to it.

Cam turns 11

After two trips to the store we got him a shiny red bike...only to return it again for a grey one..The tires kept malfunctioning. He wanted a bike for his Triathlon next week. He made his own cake after all he is the baker of the family. He took it on his first boyscout camp out. He had a blast with hiking and learning how to use a pocketknife. For lunch he had a giant cookie dough shake so over all I think he had a great weekend.

This has been a first our all of us. Cody ran track this season and did the hurdles and 200M sprint. Its exciting to watch all the races but talk about a long evening. The meets go on for hours :)

Cruise first round of photos

So Billy planned a cruise for our 15 year anniversary this year! It was 7 days with stops in Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozymel. We went with two other couples and it couldn't of been more perfect. Awesome food, company, games, activities. We swam with the dolphins which anyone who knows me knows I love dolphins! We snorkeled and swam with the stingrays...slimy! Billy and I spent the day alone on the beach in Jamaica and it was beautiful and so nice to have time alone. We learned how to cha-cha and do the Thriller dance. We ate authentic Mexican tacos! We sang Kereoke and sat in the hot tub. We ate and ate and ate. The food was awesome. I loved laying out on the deck sipping my pina coladas and strawberry daquaries with the girls. The boys did game shows, an amazing race-which they won! and had golf tournaments everyday. We did play girls vs guys one time and I had 2 hole in ones and they only beat us by 2 strokes.... 7 days of bliss!!..thanks to our family and friends that we could trust our kids with...next year again?
