preschool/play group

I have such mixed feelings about sending her twice a week to go play with her friends. I know she loves it but I feel so guilty sending her away from me and yet when she is gone I get so much done! She asked all summer when it was starting again...so I need to just let her go and know she is having fun...I know its only 3 hrs twice a week...She insisted on a ponytail (it was the size of my pinky)

scouts

I am so glad the boys have the opportunity to be in the Scouting program and for the great Leaders they have! Yes I am Cams leader but I meant all the others ..haha..It has taught them to set goals and work together to become better citizens. They get to form friendships with others that have the same interests and morals. The last picture is of a field trip I took the boys to the City Hall and they were able to sit in the City Council seats and learn about their local government, followed by a tour of the police station. Boys I am so proud of both of you!

Benj's visit

Benj and Alisa came out for a short visit but we made the most of it! We had a swim and BBQ (they are vegetarians so they had some fake burgers!)on Friday night. Saturday we went Bowling with the kids and then the adults went out for Mexican followed by telephone charades at my parents house! funniest game ever!! We played all night and no one wanted to stop. We had ice cream Sundays but we were so busy videoing everything I didn't get pics. Sunday after church we went to Jasons house for more dessert where Joy made 3 diff types of homemade pie and I did choc. cupcakes and Bluebell ice cream! So we loved having them to visit and now we can starve ourselves to make up for how much we ate when they were here!! Come back soon guys!

back to school

The kids started back to school on Aug 23rd. Cody is in 7th grade at the Middle School. Cam is in 5th this year and Carter 2nd! We take photos every year in front of the tree and I can't believe how much it has grown right alongside Cody since I first took his picture in Kindergarten by the tree. One of these days maybe I can figure out how to scan it in! This year I am homeschooling Cam and Carter and one of the benefits...you don't have to change out of your p.j.'s or brush your hair!...But you still have to brush your teeth LOL! So here is the first day....

Dance again

Savannah started Dance last week and is so excited to be doing it again. She is so fun to watch and just loves it. I also had to put a picture of my sage bushes in bloom, they are gorgeous!

Rough Riders

Well after spending the whole day at Hawaiian Falls we went strait to the baseball game. It was free tickets and tons of free food. So we couldn't say no. So Billy picked up Savannah and met us there. We had a blast and ate our weight in food and the kids slept really good that night.

Hawaiian Falls

I love Hawaiian Falls! Grandma kept Savannah and I took the boys for a day of fun on the slides, the wavepool and the lazy river. They dragged me on the pink innertube slide ride and I screamed the whole way down. But I drew the line there when they got in line for the strait drop slide where the floor drops from the inside and you go strait down...sheer terror. The boys did that one over and over again.

Grandpa Bens 80th

It is so great to celebrate these milestones. I think this in the only time I have a picture of all 3 of my grandpas together! of course Billy had to pop his head in for a photo op! Cameron shoved Billy in the pool when he wasn't looking right after he was showing off flexing...haha
