Winter Wonderland

I love Snow. I love curling up with Hot chocolate and how excited the kids get to go out and play in it. I love watching Billy pummel them with snowballs and vice versa. Savannah wanted to wear her white wedding dress in the snow and after a massive crying fit she finally decided to change. The snow came late in the afternoon and it turned dark quickly...which led to Billy hitting Carter in the neck with a snowball when he was aiming for his chest...poor Carter. He was done after that!

Whirly Ball

Our friends the Terrils threw a great birthday party. It was so fun to celebrate Tiares birthday playing whirlyball and enjoying the 6ft subs. We have an amazing group of friends. Shaunna and Ryan came up from Houston to play too. Shaunna ordered all the girls matching pink shirts with our age on the back as our numbers and Team Tiare on the front. The winner received the "golden cup"! Girls rule. We won!

Christmas dinner

We went to our friends the Lamberts for Christmas dinner. They had the place all decked out with tables and decorations. Trevor made a wonderful prime rib and our friend Tiare made a great dish of carrotts and beets. I had never had beets and these were amazing! They had finger potatos and Shaunna made her famous green salad and brought an amazing cheesecake. Savannah insisted she wear her new Snow White costume and some of the other kids dressed up like the manger scene and read from Luke. My boys on the other hand decided we needed an action play after and proceeded to fight eachother....nice. We had around 20 kids there. Before we left to go to the party our dryer broke...again. I brought 2 loads to dry there and our friend ivette said they had an extra dryer and they just gave it to us! What a Christmas blessing.

christmas morning

This was such a fun Christmas morning again this year. It is so great to watch the kids faces at the suprise gifts they weren't expecting and see the excitement it brings to them. Cody had no idea Santa would be bringing him a bike, and he and Cam didn't know they would be getting MP3 players either...Savannah was hoping for something Strawberry shortcake and she was thrilled to get the house with all the characters. Carters big suprise was a Dino Castle that took mom 2 hrs to put together in the morning...They have spent the whole week enjoying their toys and wii games! We have been so blessed to be able to have so much and a healthy family and Billys job! Also this was the first white Christmas Texas has had in 80 years.

Christmas Eve at grandmas

This year we had Christmas Eve at grandmas with a special visit from Santa! We had Grandpa Gregs famous macaroni and cheese. The kids couldn't keep up with all the gifts they received. We are so blessed to have so much family around. Both sets of grandparents were here for the first time ever together at Christmas. All of my siblings and I presented a binder to each of them and to my parents that chronicled the year with photos and journaling. They loved it. The kids were thrilled with everything they got...but Cams fave was the mario Kart wii game, Savannah loved her mermaid set, Carter used a giftcard to buy a starwars stickerbook, and Cody got a pocket knife. I love my Sees candies and cash :0 I don't have pictures with Santa because it was went on video...

Relief Society dinner

We had a fantastic enrichment this year like always. We were able to have dinner in our new building and I was incharge of setting up a table with dinnerware and decorations. Its a good thing I have friends because I had to borrow alot to make it nice!! Our relief society president wrote a great song called the 12 daze of christmas. It was so fun to watch them all act it out. We sang songs and listend to solos.

Anual Christmas party with friends

Another year with friends and our awesome white elephant exchange! Billy and I won an awesome gift but we are keeping it on the down low...someone else might be getting it soon! Oh yeah and its a bit trashy! I laughed so hard when I opened it I couldn't smile the rest of the night without it hurting my cheeks.

Christmas Caroling

For Family Home Evening we went caroling! The kids weren't excited at first but then really got into it and the weather was great.
