lazy sundays

I love Sundays because after church we all change into our p.j.s and play games and watch football. It is just so relaxing to not leave the house and spend family time together. This is Carter and Savannah playing batman.

service snowman

The service snowman is a secret way of doing service for eachother. One person does an act of service for someone else and leaves the snowman there for them to keep it going. The kids have jumped at this. It is spreading like fire. So far they have done things like: leaving a treat, getting a bed ready,cleaning a car, doing trash and dishes. They are so into it they have been doing service when it wasn't there turn with the snowman.

Thanksgiving

I love this time of year when all the family gets together and we eat and eat and eat! Its great to have both sets of my grandparents here to celebrate with us. Also we were able to be with my parents after they spent the last two Thanksgivings in Russia.

Wendys suprise party/spoons

So Shaunna was able to come up and visit again, this time for her birthday!! We started the night off with supper club at my house, Kari and I did subway. Then we all went and waited for 2 hrs in line to see New Moon. The place was sold out. Saturday we went to Sarahs suprise birthday breakfast and then in the afternoon we met up with some of the girls for shopping and Sushi. That was my first time for Sushi and it was really good. After that we took Wendy to her house where everyone was waiting to suprise her for her birthday! The evening flew by as everyone played spoons and pictionary. What a fun weekend. Thanks Billy for giving me time with my friends.

Sarahs bday

For Sarahs 30th birthday: Mom, Joy and I kidnapped her and made her put on the new pajamas we had bought her and took her out to breakfast. We ate at Mimis and met up with the rest of the gals in our family as a suprise to her!!

Grandma invited us girls to lunch at her country club. It was great to get to spend time with her.

We met up with our friends Shara and Logan for some chick fillet fun and of course ice cream and Savannah is taking a dance/tumbling/tap class that she loves!

This year we went trickertreating with the Reynolds in our neighborhood. The streets were packed and we had more candy than they could carry. Cam and Carter were clone troopers but cam lost his costume and had to come up with a make shift one for halloween night...Savannah was the witch from The Wizard of Oz but wanted everyone to know she was a "good witch". She was soo scared of all the houses that answered their doors with masks on and would hide behind me shaking! She also managed to fall atleast 3 times.

New Camera, New Blog

My friend Shaunna and her family came up from Houston to surprise me for my birthday! All of my most wonderful friends went in together and surprised me with a digital camera and now I can have a blog!!! Thank you gals :) I am having so much fun with it. The boys love it when Ryan hangs out with them because he will play video games and put up with their "smack talk".
