Cody is ordained a deacon

We had such a wonderful day today. It was fast Sunday and we had such a great sacrament mtg. My parents came and my dad and billy both bore testimony of the power of the priesthood and the spirit was so strong. I am so grateful for Codys choice to be worthy and have the priesthood and for the examples he has in his life like his father and grandfather.

Carters baseball

Carter played catcher again this year and they made it to the second game in the tournament before they were finnished. He hits the ball great and loves the game.

Carters field trip to the zoo

This years field trip for 1st grade was to the Frank Buck ZOO in Gainsville, where I was blessed to get to go with Carter. He is so fun to be with and always has the biggest grin on his face and is so easy going. I love how he is such a protector of Savannah and though I thought he might be disapointed it wasn't one on one time for us this time, the first question he asked me was if Savannah was going to get to come with us!

So I am looking through my camera trying to get Savannah for the life of me to look at the camera and smile and she said "but its going to bite me!...and then I put down the camera to see what she was so terrified of.....standing right next to her the whole time and I never even saw it or noticed how scared she was.

pinewood derby

So we had a busy day between baseball, pinewood derby and Carters field trip. We only had to make one car this year...We are the type of parents that believe the boy should make the Car and Dad is there to help. The boys design their own cars by drawing on the block of wood and Billy helps them cut it. They paint it all on their own too. Cam was more disappointed they didn't have any refreshments than the fact he didn't win...He also received his Bear badge and will now join Webelos with me!
