OUCH!

So the dog escaped and I was bringing him back on his leash when a cat darted out of our bushes and he ran after it with me still attached to the leash! I was dragged across the cement and then face planted through the grass. Needless to say it is probably one of the most painful experiences I have ever had! I have had such great friends taking care of me, bringing me meals and treats while I felt so handicapped. I had already hurt my other arm. Felt like a torn muscle. So I couldn't use either arm! But a week later and today is the first day I have had mobility and it hasn't been painful just annoying. I hope it doesn't scar :(

Canton

What a great group of friends I got to spend the weekend with! We ate out, had two baby showers, hung out talking and eating the best cupcakes I have ever had! From Sprinkles. Then off to Canton for shopping and more eating. Thats how I ended up with the kitties.....(plus Billy was wonderful with the kids-cleaned bathrooms, dusted, vaccumed and did all the laundry....all stuff I couldn't get done with an injured arm)

Two suprise Kitties

So....I wanted to surprise the family with a kitten for Savannah's birthday which is Tuesday. She has been asking for one all year nearly daily since the neighbors have one. On our Canton trip I knew I could find one and then I found two adorable ones and thought well Carters birthday is coming up soon and I could get one for him. Also they would have each other. They won't put the poor things down. They were ecstatic and Billy was shocked...But he was such a good sport and has actually held them and thinks they are pretty cute!

Cam earns his Webelos badge

Cameron worked so hard to complete all his pins and requirements and earned his Webelos badge this month and hopefuly will have his Arrow of Light soon too!
(As you can see by my photo...it had been a long day and I forgot I had to go up to the front and have him "pin" me or else I might have worn something different,done my hair, or remembered my other glasses instead of my prescription sunglasses...)

Carter looses his first and second tooth

Carter has waited for this day for as long as he can remember. All of his friends have been losing teeth since Kindergarten and he was so disappointed he has had to wait. I love the excitement in his eyes. Then two days later(and a haircut) he lost his second one. He couldn't wait for the tooth fairy :0

Cody had his first Football game! He gets to play on the A team and is wide receiver on offense and inside line backer on defense and also on special teams. It was soo hot out there and he was exhausted after the game but he had 4 tackles and 1 QB sack. It was really fun to watch. Uncle Philip and Aunt Becky were so nice to drive up and watch. They brought there two kiddos. We thought it would be fun to eat out after but it turned out Cody was so tired he found an empty booth at the restaurant and sprawled out and rested and he didn't eat anything....

Billys Triathlon

Go Billy. He did his first triathlon today. A bunch of people from church competed too. It was a lot of fun to watch and when I saw the pool they had to race in I was glad I didn't join them this time. I need way more practice! 1/4 mile swim, 15 mile bike ride and 3 mile run. He did great! The kids and I watched and in between I read MockingJay the blue book one of my friends is holding up :)
