Codys last season with his Dad

This was Billys last Season to coach Cody. Next year he will have to try out for the school team. They both have really enjoyed it. Billy got choked up as he spoke to his team after the last game. He has had several of the same boys the last 5 seasons...Cody I hope someday you will look back on this treasured time with your dad as I know he has truly loved every minute with you!

finally new bedding for me!

I have waited 2yrs to find the bedding I like for our bedroom. I love it, the kids do to and I said they have to put a different blanket on the bed over my new one if they want to watch t.v.on it and forget about laying on my pillows!

Cookies...no thanks

Cody had to stay home from school because he had come home with fever the day before and he wanted to make cookies. He did it all by himself and followed the recipie...except he added milk, and an extra teaspoon of salt. (he wanted to make it his own) and then instead of baking soda he used baking powder and they turned out very salty and bitter to me...but he and the other kids liked them!

billys birthday

I made Billy a football cake but it was supposed to be Cowboy colors...but instead of navy blue it turned out royal blue. Savannah made a cake of her own for her daddy too~

too cold for me

We took the kids to the park for some outside time and I stayed inside the car. It was too cold for me. Carter is spiderman.

school spelling bee

Cameron worked very hard to be able to participate in the schools spelling bee. He competed against some fifth graders too. They select 10 kids from 4th and 5th. Our friend Ross was also among the contestants. They did great and deserved to be there. Way to go boys!

smores and football

The Cowboys had a playoff game and we decided to cook smores over the fire since it has been so cold. Carter dropped one of his in the ashes and that is the one he is holding out making a funny face. We learned from the last time we did this, to put out a huge blanket on the floor because often time the marshmellows go flying and leave a horrible sticky mess, we even had a couple that were still on fire fall off onto the blanket...
